21. Advanced Landscape & Figures (Pam Mahoney)
Materials fee: $0
Bring to class:
- A picture of an image to draw - if you get an enlarged colour copy of your picture, it helps with detail and fabric choices. A computer generated picture is not effective unless clear of pixels.
- Overhead projectors will be available to copy your photo on to paper – you will need to get your photo transferred on to a transparency.
- If you have the ability to transfer your photo to paper which is the size of the hanging you are going to do beforehand, this will help as it is quite a long process. You need the main lines of the photo, just done in pencil on the paper.
- Paper to draw designs on
- Selection of pens, pencil and eraser – felt pens do not work
- Gel pens to mark fabric – light and dark
- White freezer paper to trace design templates
