In this course you will learn how to make a piece of wearable art using a method developed by Carol to make felting possible for people with arthritis. On the first day you will construct the hat. On the second day you will decorate it and experiment with other wet felting techniques. No previous wet felting experience is required but some needle felting will be an asset.

In this class you will learn the art of soft sculpture using the needle felting technique. You will use shading and proportion to produce a lifelike chickadee to decorate the home or hang on the tree at Christmas. Some needle felting will be an asset, but not necessary.
