Welcome to Workshops 2008
Come to our scenic seaside village and treat yourself to a learning experience you'll long remember, with a variety of one-day and multi-day courses starting Tuesday August 19, 2008.
Bring family and friends, too—everyone's welcome.
Early Bird deadline extended
Due to the late distribution of our brochure, we are extending the discount period for Workshop registration to May 15. Take advantage of the savings and sign up now!
Remember, all prices are in Canadian dollars. Use the XE.com Personal Currency Assistant to calculate amounts in US dollars or any other currency.
Important Information Regarding Workshops
- All classes go from 9am–4pm unless otherwise noted.
- A materials list will be sent with your receipt for registration.
- Please make sure sewing machines or other equipment needed are in working order.
- Early Bird – fees must be received before April 30, 2008 May 15, 2008 to qualify.
- Workshops are hands-on and are for adult students unless otherwise stated.
- Pre-registration is required (click for info on how to register). Registration starts April 1, 2008.
- Please check in at the registration desk before your first class.
- Refunds & cancellation
If you cancel: please make your selection(s) carefully. Events/workshops operate on a cost-recovery basis. There are no refunds should you cancel for any reason. Thank you for your understanding.
If we cancel: a minimum number of participants are required to operate each event/workshop. The Festival reserves the right to cancel an event/workshop, in which case your registration fees would be refunded (not including EventsOnline processing fee in the case of online registrations). In case of cancellation, the Festival shall have no liability beyond the refund of monies paid to the Festival by the purchaser, which shall constitute a full settlement.
Workshop Reception and Info Centre
Before heading to your first day of class please check-in at the Workshop Reception Centre.
- Open: Tuesday August 19, 2pm – 5pm;
Wednesday thru Saturday August 20 – 23, 8am – 5pm.
Workshops run from Tuesday thru Saturday.
